Less, on purpose
Minimalist tattoos reduce a symbol to its simplest outline: a heart, a wave, a semicolon, a line of mountains. They rely on clean lines and empty space more than on detail.
Because they are simple, they hold up well at small sizes and suit places where a bigger piece would be too much: the wrist, the ankle, behind the ear, the side of a finger. Placement matters more than usual, since the design has nothing else to carry it.
Previewing it honestly
Try the same design at two sizes and in two spots before deciding. In the editor, Size and Rotation are worth more time than any effect: a small tilt can make a simple line feel deliberate or accidental.
